After the immense success of 'Becoming X', 'Clean-up' records released 'Becoming RemiXed', a compilation album consisting of remixes. France were lucky enough to receive this first, before the running order was revised and released via 'Clean-up' records in 1998. The standard cover art was designed by: 'Light Surgeons', who also supplied visuals for the 'Becoming X' tour and the various 'Spin Spin Sugar' singles. This too, like the album 'Becoming X' was a massive success, as shown by how many versions were released below. Some remixes featured here cannot be found on any of the CD singles. An error occurs on the standard CD; track six: 'Six Underground - The Umbrella's Of Ladywell Mix 2', ends abruptly at about four minutes in, when the actual track is nearer to the eight minute mark. The full version can be found on the 'Six Underground' single. The American and Canadian CD's were numbered, limited edition releases and so was the American vinyl release, but the tracks were slightly rearranged to fit the record correctly. An American promotional CD exists with completely different artwork, but with the same tracks. The limited edition French CD release has a similar cover to the 'Post-Modern Sleaze' 12'' single and has an alternate track listing. The French vinyl edition is identical to the French CD release, but with one less track and completely different artwork. A cassette edition was in the works but only made it as a promotional edition, due to the fact that tapes were slowly being phased out at this point.
